Analysis of influencing factors of recurrence after endoscopic resection of colonic adenoma
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of recurrence after endoscopic resection of colonic adenoma. Methods The clinical data of 182 patients who underwent endoscopic resection of colonic adenoma and were pathologically diagnosed as colonic adenoma in the gastroenterology department of Guilin People's Hospital from July 2020 to August 2022 were collected. All patients were treated with endoscopic resection.According to whether there was recurrence after operation, the patients were divided into recurrence group and non-recurrence group. The general clinical characteristics and adenoma characteristics of the patients were recorded, and the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence of colonic adenoma were analyzed. Results Of the 182 patients,43 had recurrence and 139 had no recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 23.6%.There were statistically significant differences in age, smoking, diabetes history and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)history between the two groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in adenoma diameter, adenoma number and adenoma pathological type between the two groups(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥ 60 years, smoking, adenoma number ≥ 3 and adenoma pathological type of tubular villous adenoma were independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence of colonic adenoma(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain recurrence rate after endoscopic resection of colonic adenoma.Age≥ 60 years old, smoking, adenoma number ≥ 3 and pathological type of tubular villous adenoma are independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence of colonic adenoma.
