Study on the correlation between ACEF score and prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time in adult cardiac surgery patients
Objective To explore the correlation between Age,Creatinine, and Ejection Fraction(ACEF)score and prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time in adult cardiac surgery patients. Methods The clinical data of 416 patients who underwent adult cardiac surgery in the No.2 extracardiac intensive care department in our hospital from January to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into three groups by ACEF score using the third percentile method[group T1(137 cases,ACEF score 0.40-0.67 points),group T2(144 cases,ACEF score>0.67-0.94 points)and group T3(135 cases,ACEF score>0.94-4.12 points)].Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression models combined with restricted cubic splines(RCS)were used to analyze the correlation between ACEF score and postoperative prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time and the response curve. Results After adjusting for the influence of multiple factors,RCS analysis results showed that there was linear relationship between preoperative ACEF score and the risk of postoperative prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time(non-linear test P>0.05).The higher the ACEF score among the three groups, the higher the risk of postoperative prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time(trend test P<0.001).Conclusion ACEF score has predictive value for prolonged ventilator usagetime and intensive care time in adult cardiac surgery patients.
