Effect of ambroxol combined with ceftizoxime and azithromycin in the treatment of pneumonia and its influence on lung function
Objective To analyze the effect of ambroxol combined with ceftizoxime and azithromycin in the treatment of pneumonia and its influence on lung function. Methods A total of 70 patients with pneumonia admitted in our hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and study group according to the principle of random distribution, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ceftizoxime and azithromycin, and the study group was treated with ambroxol on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The antipyretic time, respiratory patency time, lung rale disappearance time, cough disappearance time and X-ray shadow disappearance time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow(PEF)and static lung compliance of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of high mobility group box 1(HMGB1)and interleukin-17(IL-17)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of interleukin-4(IL-4)and neutrophil phagocytosis percentage were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The ambroxol combined with ceftizoxime and azithromycin in the treatment of pneumonia has a significant effect. It can control clinical symptoms, improve lung function and immune function, and promote the rehabilitation of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
