Application effect of the teaching method of combining traditional Chinese medicine classics with clinical cases in the clinical teaching practice of traditional Chinese medicine oncology department
Objective To explore the application effect of the teaching method of combining traditional Chinese medicine classics with clinical cases in the clinical teaching practice of traditional Chinese medicine oncology department.Methods From May 2021 to March 2022,108 physicians who came to the traditional Chinese medicine oncology department of Putuo Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for each cycle were selected as the research objects,and the physicians were divided into routine teaching group and classic teaching group according to the different teaching methods,with 54 cases in each group.Taking the common diseases of tumor as the course test object,the routine teaching group applied the conventional internal medicine teaching method,and the classic teaching group applied teaching method of combining traditional Chinese medicine classics with clinical cases.The teaching effects of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of learning initiative,clinical thinking ability,autonomous learning ability,group cooperative learning ability and inquiry learning ability of students in the classic teaching group were higher than those in the routine teaching group(P<0.05).The students in the classic teaching group were more familiar with the understanding of diseases,the understanding of the relationship between Chinese and western medicine,the understanding of prescriptions,the understanding of classical medical books,the interest of classical medical books,and the inspiration of thesis writing than the routine teaching group(P<0.05);The familiarity of teachers in the classic teaching group with teaching method was higher than that in the routine teaching group(P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching method of combining traditional Chinese medicine classics with clinical cases has a good application effect in the clinical teaching practice of traditional Chinese medicine oncology department.
