Serum amyloid A(SAA)is an acute phase response protein,which is mainly involved in the regulation of infection,tissue injury and acute phase response of inflammation.In recent years,with the in-depth study of SAA structure,biological function and signaling pathway,its role in tumor development,angiogenesis,cell proliferation,invasion and metastasis has been further revealed.This article intends to review the role of SAA in tumor-related diseases and provide references value for early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of tumors.
