Effect of lengthening InterTan in the treatment of senile osteoporotic unstable femoral intertrochanteric fracture
Objective To explore the effect of lengthening InterTan in the treatment of senile osteoporotic unstable femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Methods A total of 83 elderly patients with osteoporotic unstable femoral intertrochanteric fracture who were hospitalized in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into long nail group(n=42)and standard group(n=41).The long nail group was treated with lengthening InterTan,and the standard group was treated with standard InterTan.The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, radiation exposure time, intraoperative blood transfusion, tipapex distance(TAD),fracture healing time and Harris score were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and radiation exposure time of the long nail group were longer than those of the standard group, and the intraoperative blood loss was more than that of the standard group, the differences were statistically significan(P<0.05);there were no significant differences in intraoperative blood transfusion and TAD between the two groups(P>0.05).The fracture healing time of the long nail group was shorter than that of the standard group, and the Harris score was higher than that of the standard group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Lengthening InterTan applied in senile osteoporotic unstable femoral intertrochanteric fractures can achieve good fracture reduction effect and promote fracture healing,it has high clinical application value and is worthy of promotion.
