Analysis of CT and MRI features of rare primary adrenal tumors
Objective To summarize and analyze the characteristic imaging findings of rare primary adrenal tumors in order to improve the diagnostic level. Methods From March 2018 to May 2022,17 patients with rare primary adrenal tumors admitted in our hospital were selected as the research objects, and their imaging findings were summarized. Results All tumors were unilateral single, including 8 cases of ganglioneuroma(GN),1 case of ganglioneuroblastoma(GNB),2 cases of adrenal schwannoma(AS),3 cases of adrenocortical carcinoma(ACC)and 3 cases of adrenal teratoma(AT).CT and MRI examination can directly show the location, size, shape, internal density and signal of the tumor, the relationship with the surrounding tissue structure and the presence or absence of metastasis. Conclusion The imaging manifestations of rare primary adrenal tumors are diverse, and their clinical symptoms are lack of specificity. The analysis of their imaging features is helpful to improve the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis.
