Diagnostic value of Tg,TgAb combined with ECT in thyroid carcinoma
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of thyroglobulin(Tg),thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb)combined with emission computed tomography(ECT)in thyroid carcinoma(TC).Methods A total of 82 TC patients admitted in our hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected as case group, and 50 healthy people who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as control group. Both groups were examined by Tg,TgAb and ECT.Taking pathological diagnosis as the gold standard, the diagnostic efficacy of three tests on TC alone and in combination was compared. Results The levels of Tg and TgAb and the proportions of cold nodules and border irregularity in the case group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of combined examination of Tg,TgAb and ECT were higher than those of single examination of Tg,TgAb and ECT,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Of the 82 patients,6 recurred after operation, with a recurrence rate of 7.32% ;the levels of Tg and TgAb and the proportions of cold nodules and border irregularity in recurrent group were higher than those in non-recurrent group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the diagnosis process of TC,the combined examination of Tg,TgAb and ECT can provide good data support and has high diagnostic value, which is worth promoting and applying.
