Effects of team empowerment education based on mind mapping on disease cognition level and psychological state of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding undergoing gastroscopic surgery
Objective To study the effects of team empowerment education based on mind mapping on disease cognition level and psychological state of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding(AUGIB)undergoing gastroscopic surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients with AUGIB who underwent gastroscopic surgery in our hospital from February 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to different treatment time, the patients were divided into control group and experimental group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the experimental group received team empowerment education based on mind mapping intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire(B-IPQ)and General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of the Mental Status Scale in Non-psychiatric Settings(MSSNS)in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Team empowerment education based on mind mapping can improve the disease cognition level and self-efficacy of patients with AUGIB undergoing gastroscopic surgery, effectively reduce the negative emotions such as anxiety, depression and loneliness, and improve their psychological state.
