A case of pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis and literature review
Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis(PLAM)has a low incidence and is a rare disease in clinical practice.Because of its insidious onset,no typical symptoms,imaging findings are easily confused with emphysema,it is easy to be missed and misdiagnosed in clinical practice.In this case,hydrothorax and multiple cystic shadows in both lungs were accidentally found during physical examination due to cough,and the disease was clearly diagnosed by lung biopsy.Through the analysis of the medical history,auxiliary examination,diagnosis process of the case and the review of relevant literature,this paper summarizes some clinical characteristics and treatment experience of PLAM,in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment level of the majority of medical workers.
