Effect of silicon gel combined with CO2 lattice laser in the treatment of hypertrophic scar
Objective To investigate the early treatment effect of silicon gel combined with CO2 lattice laser on hypertrophic scar(HS).Methods A total of 100 patients with HS admitted in our hospital from September 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with CO2 lattice laser, and the study group was treated with silicon gel combined with CO2 lattice laser. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of each dimension and total score of Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of pain and pruritus of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was slightly lower than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Silicon gel combined with CO2 lattice laser has a significant effect on the early treatment of HS,which can reduce the symptoms of pain and pruritus, and reduce the levels of VEGF and TGF-β1,which is worthy of promotion.
