Effect and accuracy of combined diagnosis of CT and MRI in patients with intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma
Objective To analyze the effect and accuracy of combined diagnosis of CT and MRI in patients with intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods A total of 80 patients with suspected intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma admitted from December 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. All subjects underwent CT examination and MRI examination after enrollment. To compare the diagnostic efficacy and disease identification accuracy of CT,MRI alone and combined examination for intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma. Results There were no significant difference in the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of CT and MRI alone examination in the diagnosis of intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma(P>0.05);the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of CT and MRI combined examination for intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma were higher than those of alone examination, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in the accuracy of differential diagnosis of intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma by CT and MRI alone examination(P>0.05);the accuracy of CT and MRI combined examination in the differential diagnosis of adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma of intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma were higher than those of alone examination, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The CT and MRI combined examination has a high diagnostic efficiency for patients with intrahepatic hepatocellular carcinoma.
