Effect of TCM syndrome differentiation diet combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing on the intelligence level of children with intellectual developmental disabilities
Objective To explore the effect of TCM syndrome differentiation diet combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing on the intelligence level of children with intellectual developmental disabilities.Methods A total of 120 children with intellectual developmental disabilities admitted in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given routine rehabilitation nursing,and the observation group was given TCM syndrome differentiation diet combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing on this basis.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of verbal intelligence quotient(VIQ),performance intelligence quotient(PIQ)and full scale intelligence quotient(FIQ)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the score of Gross Motor Function Measure(GMFM)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of each dimension of PedsQL universal core scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The TCM syndrome differentiation diet combined with comprehensive rehabilitation nursing is helpful to improve the intelligence level of children with intellectual developmental disabilities,promote the improvement of language and cognitive function,and improve their quality of life,which is worth promoting in clinic.
