Effects of nursing intervention based on Snyder hope theory combined with peer education on rehabilitation exercise enthusiasm and limb function of patients with hemiplegia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on Snyder hope theory combined with peer education in patients with hemiplegia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods A total of 110 patients with hemiplegia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage admitted from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given nursing intervention based on Snyder hope theory combined with peer education on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of active behavior and rehabilitation exercise cooperation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the score of giving up behavior was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment(FMA),Berg and Barthel Index(BI)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rebleeding rate and the readmission rate at 6 months after discharge in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on Snyder hope theory combined with peer education can improve the enthusiasm of rehabilitation exercise in patients with hemiplegia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, which is helpful to improve limb function and quality of life, and can also reduce the rate of rebleeding and readmission.
