Effects of continuous nursing model based on use and satisfaction theory combined with music therapy on catheter nursing ability and adverse events of PICC patients
Objective To explore the effects of continuous nursing model based on use and satisfaction theory combined with music therapy on catheter nursing ability and adverse events of peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)patients. Methods A total of 200 patients with PICC admitted from June 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given continuous nursing model based on use and satisfaction theory combined with music therapy intervention. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension of catheter nursing ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of catheter-related adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The unplanned extubation rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The continuous nursing model based on use and satisfaction theory combined with music therapy can improve the catheter nursing ability of PICC patients, reduce the occurrence of catheter-related adverse events and unplanned extubation events.
