Effect of platelet rich plasma combined with ozone in the treatment of traumatic arthritis of ankle joint caused by military training and its influence on bone metabolism indexes
Objective To investigate the effect of platelet rich plasma(PRP)combined with ozone in the treatment of traumatic arthritis of ankle joint caused by military training and its influence on bone metabolism indexes. Methods A total of 92 patients with traumatic arthritis of ankle joint admitted from March 2019 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ozone, and the observation group was treated with PRP on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Outcomes Instruments(AAOS)ankle scale and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS)ankle-hindfood in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of bone glutamyl protein(BGP)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the levels of total procouagen typeⅠN-terminal propeptide(TPⅠNP)and tartrate resistant acid phosphatase(TRAP)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)and matrix metalloproteinase-3(MMP-3)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion PRP combined with ozone is effective in the treatment of traumatic arthritis of the ankle joint caused by military training, which can regulate bone metabolism indexes and inhibit the inflammatory response.
