Clinical effect of arthroscopic lateral discoid meniscus partial resection combined with lower limb forcewire alignment in the treatment of patients with lateral discoid meniscus
Objective To investig ate the clinical effect of arthroscopic lateral discoid meniscus partial resection combined with lower limb forcewire alignment in the treatment of patients with lateral discoid meniscus. Methods A total of 102 patients with lateral discoid meniscus were divided into control group and study group according to the 1∶1 random number table method, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with simple arthroscopic lateral discoid meniscus partial resection, and the study group was treated with arthroscopic lateral discoid meniscus partial resection combined with lower limb forcewire alignment. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results At 1 month and 1 year after operation, the lower limb forcewire of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, the Lysholm and International Knee Documentation Commitee(IKDC)scores were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative hospital stay between the two groups(P=0.074).The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic lateral discoid meniscus partial resection combined with lower limb forcewire alignment in the treatment of patients with lateral discoid meniscus has a good effect.
