Effect of budesonide formoterol powder inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of acute attack of bronchial asthma and its influence on immune function
Objective To investigate the effect of budesonide formoterol powder inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of acute attack of bronchial asthma and its influence on immune function. Methods A total of 80 patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma admitted from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group(budesonide formoterol powder inhalation treatment)and observation group(budesonide formoterol powder inhalation combined with montelukast sodium treatment),with 40 cases in each group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF)and percentage of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the regulatory T cell(Treg)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the T helper cell 17(Th17)and Th17/Treg were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of eotaxin-2 and interleukin 33(IL-33)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Budesonide formoterol powder inhalation combined with montelukast sodium can improve the therapeutic effect of patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma, promote the improvement of lung function and immune function, and also down-regulate the expression of eotaxin-2 and IL-33.
