Effect of micro-screw implant anchorage in the treatment of orthodontic patients and its influences on root absorption and aesthetics
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of micro-screw implant anchorage in the treatment of orthodontic patients. Methods A total of 80 orthodontic patients admitted in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were randomly divided into routine group(40 cases, routine extraoral arch strong anchorage treatment)and observation group(40 cases,micro-screw implant anchorage treatment). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before and after treatment, there was no significant difference in root resorption between the two groups(P>0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in bite force, masticatory function and periodontal health indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the bite force and masticatory function of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the routine group, and the gingival index(GI),sulcus bleeding index(SBI)and plaque index(PLI)scores were significantly lower than those of the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The orthodontic aesthetic score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the routine group, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Micro-screw implant anchorage in the treatment of orthodontic patients can achieve ideal results, and has a high evaluation of orthodontic aesthetics.
