Assessment role of prothrombin time and platelet parameter test on liver injury in patients with cirrhosis
Objective To analyze the assessment role of prothrombin time(PT)and platelet parameter test on liver injury in patients with cirrhosis. Methods The clinical data of 60 patients with cirrhosis admitted in our hospital from July 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the degree of liver injury, the patients were divided into bleeding group(19 patients with bleeding symptoms)and non-bleeding group(41 patients without bleeding symptoms). The coagulation indexes, platelet parameters and liver function indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The thrombin time(TT),PT and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)of the bleeding group were significantly longer than those of the non-bleeding group, the fibrinogen(FIB)level was significantly lower than that of the non-bleeding group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The platelet count(PLT)and plateletcrit(PCT)of the bleeding group were significantly lower than those of the non-bleeding group, and the mean platelet volume(MPV)and platelet distribution width(PDW)were significantly higher than those of the non-bleeding group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and γ-glutamyltranspeptidase(GGT)in the bleeding group were significantly higher than those in the non-bleeding group, and the level of albumin(ALB)was significantly lower than that in the non-bleeding group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The PT and platelet parameter test can effectively evaluate the liver injury in patients with cirrhosis, and provide basis for disease diagnosis and treatment plan formulation of patients.
