Influences of whole-course leading health education combined with quantitative muscle strength training on lumbar spine function and disease knowledge, belief and behavior in patients with lumbar disc herniation
Objective To explore the influences of whole-course leading health education combined with quantitative muscle strength training on lumbar spine function and disease knowledge, belief and behavior in patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 120 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given whole-course leading health education combined with quantitative muscle strength training intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score was higher than that of the control group, and the lumbar flexion range and lumbar spine curvature were greater than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of knowledge, belief and behavior scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the coordination of rehabilitation training of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The whole-course leading health education combined with quantitative muscle strength training can not only improve the lumbar spine function of patients with lumbar disc herniation, but also improve the disease knowledge, belief and behavior and the coordination of rehabilitation training, which is worthy of promotion.
