Objective To investigate the effect of moxibustion sticking on arm acupoints to reduce the pain of intravenous infusion and the prevention effect of phlebitis. Methods A total of 450 patients with infusion of hypertonic high-concentration liquid>500 mL from November 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to different intervention methods, the patients were divided into group A,group B and group C,with 150 cases in each group. The group A was given routine infusion nursing, the group B was given hand Sanli point massage nursing, and the group C was given moxibustion sticking on arm acupoints nursing. The intervention effects of the three groups were compared. Results At 1 h of intervention and at the end of infusion, the Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)score of the group C was lower than that of the group A and the group B(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the group C were lower than those in the group A and the group B(P<0.05).After intervention, the psychological and physiological scores of the group C were higher than those of the group A and the group B(P<0.05).The total incidence of phlebitis in the group C was lower than that in the group A and the group B(P<0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion sticking on arm acupoints can reduce the pain of the patients'intravenous infusion, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, and effectively prevent phlebitis.
