Analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of body image level in patients with breast cancer during postoperative chemotherapy
Objective To investigate the status quo of body image level of patients with breast cancer during postoperative chemotherapy and analyze its influencing factors.Methods This study was a cross-sectional study,from August 2020 to August 2021,the status quo of body image level and its influencing factors of 195 patients with breast cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy in two tertiary hospitals in Yangzhou were investigated by using the general information questionnaire,the Body Image after Breast Cancer Questionnaire-Chinese Version(BIBCQ-C),Enriching Relationship Issues,Communication and Happiness(ENRICH),and Support in Intimate Relationships Rating Scale(SIRRS).Results The average score of BIBCQ-C in patients with breast cancer during postoperative chemotherapy was(157.10±7.91)points,which was in the middle and low level.Age,marriage age,male to female income conditions,TNM stage,surgical method and marital quality were the influencing factors of body image level in patients with breast cancer during postoperative chemotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion The body image level of breast cancer patients during postoperative chemotherapy is at a middle and low level,medical staff should take active measures to improve their body image level,so as to improve the quality of life.
