Effect of self-made Bushen Qushi Huatan decoction in the treatment of vascular mild cognitive impairment secondary to senile diabetes mellitus and its influences on laboratory indexes
Objective To explore the effect of self-made Bushen Qushi Huatan decoction in the treatment of vascular mild cognitive impairment secondary to senile diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 118 patients with vascular mild cognitive impairment secondary to senile diabetes mellitus admitted from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into control group and study group,with 59 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group was treated with self-made Bushen Qushi Huatan decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)score of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the levels of bradykinin(BK),Aβ1-42 and Tau protein were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the fasting insulin(FINS),homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),malondialdehyde(MDA),reactive oxygen species(ROS)and acetylcholinesterase(AchE)levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-made Bushen Qushi Huatan decoction in the treatment of patients with vascular mild cognitive impairment secondary to senile diabetes mellitus has significant effect,which is helpful to improve islet function,inhibit oxidative stress,regulate AchE level and promote the recovery of cognitive function,and has a positive significance for the recovery of the disease.
