Effect of benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin and dispelling pathogenic factors in the treatment of rosacea with lung stomach heat syndrome and its influence on facial skin condition
Objective To investigate the effect of benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin and dispelling pathogenic factors in the treatment of rosacea with lung stomach heat syndrome and its influence on facial skin condition.Methods A total of 80 patients with lung stomach heat syndrome of rosacea admitted from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional therapy,and the observation group was treated with benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin and dispelling pathogenic factors on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-17(IL-17),interleukin-37(IL-37)and nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the skin stratum corneum water content and epidermal sebum content of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the percutaneous water loss was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of each dimension of Acne-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire(Acne-QOL)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin and dispelling pathogenic factors has a significant effect in the treatment of rosacea with lung stomach heat syndrome,which can reduce the inflammatory reaction,improve the facial skin condition,and improve the quality of life of patients.
