Effects of holistic nursing based on nursing procedure combined with position change intervention on expectoration and comfort of children with severe pneumonia
Objective To explore the effects of holistic nursing based on nursing procedure combined with position change intervention on expectoration and comfort of children with severe pneumonia. Methods A total of 100 children with severe pneumonia admitted from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing methods, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given holistic nursing based on nursing procedure combined with position change intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of expectoration in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of psychological dimension and physiological dimension in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood(PaO2)and blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the family members of the children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The holistic nursing based on nursing procedure combined with postural change intervention can improve the expectoration of children with severe pneumonia, improve their comfort, promote the recovery of blood gas indexes, and improve the nursing satisfaction of family members of children, which is worthy of promotion.
