Constipation in children is a common digestive tract symptom in children,and there is currently a lack of classification and pathophysiological review of constipation in children.This article mainly classifies primary and secondary constipation in children,and briefly describes the related research progress on theetiology and pathophysiological mechanism of primary and secondary constipation in children,in order to provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and subsequent treatment of constipation in children.However,there is still a lack of some etiology related studies and pathophysiological mechanism,and further research and exploration are needed in the future.
