Objective To explore the network pharmacology mechanism of Peiyuan Huayu Jiedu formula in the treatment of gastric cancer.Methods The biological active ingredients of Peiyuan Huayu Jiedu formula were screened by using traditional Chinese medicine database and literature retrieval,and its action targets were predicted.The related targets of gastric cancer were retrieved from the disease database,and the pharmacodynamic molecule-target network and protein-protein interaction(PPI)network were constructed,and then KEGG analysis and GO enrichment analysis were carried out.Results A total of 206 effective active components,211 pharmacodynamic molecular target genes,132 effective components with corresponding target information and 1 131 corresponding relationships were obtained.184 targets of gastric cancer were retrieved.A total of 3 592 direct or indirect targets were obtained by PPI amplification of drug targets,and 144 targets were obtained by intersection with disease targets.PPI analysis showed that the top-ranked targets were closely related to gastric cancer,and enrichment analysis also showed that these targets were enriched in cancer pathways.Conclusion This study preliminarily revealed the effective components,potential targets and possible mechanisms of Peiyuan Huayu Jiedu formula in the treatment of gastric cancer,and provided a reference for the treatment of gastric cancer with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.
