Meta-analysis of the effect of palmar minimally invasive approach and Henry approach in the treatment of distal radius fracture
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of palmar minimally invasive approach and Henry approach in the treatment of distal radius fracture(DRF).Methods PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases were searched to collect randomized controlled trials on the treatment of DRF with locking plate fixation through palmar minimally invasive approach and Henry approach from the establishment of the database to October 2022.Screening and data extraction were performed according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and RevMan5.4 software was used for data analysis. Results A total of 12 articles were included.Comprehensive analysis showed that the wrist joint palmar flexion angle, dorsiflexion angle and pronation angle of the experimental group were better than those of the control group, and the Disabilities of the Arm,Shoulder and Hand(DASH),Visual Analogue Score(VAS)scores and total incidence of complications were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with Henry approach, palmar minimally invasive approach is more effective in DRF patients and is a feasible surgical method.
