Clinical effect of artificial intelligence patient-controlled analgesia combined with PDCA cycle management in postoperative analgesia and its influence on patient satisfaction
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of artificial intelligence patient-controlled analgesia(Ai-PCA)combined with PDCA cycle management in postoperative analgesia. Methods A total of 4 560 patients who underwent elective surgery and voluntarily used postoperative analgesia pump from June 2022 to May 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the analgesic management method. The control group was 2 145 patients who used PCA analgesia from June to November 2022,and the observation group was 2 415 patients who used Ai-PCA combined with PDCA cycle management from December 2022 to May 2023.The incidence of moderate to severe pain,follow-up rate, adverse reactions, analgesic satisfaction and effective single compression rate of postoperative analgesic pump were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of moderate to severe pain in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the follow-up rate was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting, dizziness, fatigue and excessive sedation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the satisfaction of analgesia was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The effective single compression rate of postoperative analgesia pump in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The Ai-PCA combined with PDCA cycle management applied in postoperative analgesia not only improves the effective single compression rate of postoperative analgesia pump and follow-up rate, but also improves the patient's analgesia satisfaction and postoperative analgesia effect, reducing the incidence of adverse reactions.
