Clinical effect of nasal irrigation combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray in the treatment of allergic rhinitis
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of nasal irrigation combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Methods A total of 80 patients with allergic rhinitis admitted in our hospital from January to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into conventional group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray, and the observation group was treated with nasal irrigation combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, nasal itching and Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),total immunoglobulin E(TIgE)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the percentage of eosinophils(EOS)in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group, the levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ),soluble programmed death ligand-1(sPD-L1)and transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)were significantly higher than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nasal irrigation combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray in the treatment of patients with allergic rhinitis can achieve significant clinical effect,it can quickly improve the symptoms, inflammation and biochemical indicators of patients, and can also improve the quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
