Clinical effect of Huatan Paiyu acupuncture combined with self-made Zhichan formula in the treatment of vascular parkinsonism
Objective To observe the clinical effect of HuatanPaiyu acupuncture combined with self-made Zhichan formula in the treatment of vascular parkinsonism(VP).Methods A total of 72 VP patients admitted from September 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was treated with levodopa and benserazide tablets alone,and the treatment group was treated with Huatan Paiyu acupuncture combined with self-made Zhichan formula.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,and the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the Webster score and number of falls in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the Berg Balance Scale(BBS)score and 6 min walking distance(6MWD)were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Huatan Paiyu acupuncture combined with self-made Zhichan formula in the treatment of VP has significant effect,which can improve the neurological function of patients and promote the recovery of symptoms,with higher safety.
