Effect of traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Yipi Lichang decoction for oral administration in the treatment of chronic colitis and its influence on inflammatory response
Objective To analyze the clinical value of traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Yipi Lichang decoction for oral administration in the treatment of chronic colitis.Methods A total of 86 patients with chronic colitis admitted from January 2018 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method,the patients were divided into control group(n=43,conventional treatment)and study group(n=43,conventional treatment + traditional Chinese medicine retention enema + Yipi Lichang decoction for oral administration).The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of bacterial endotoxin(BT),D-lactic acid(D-LA)and diamine oxidase(DAO)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP-9)and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and CD8+ was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with Yipi Lichang decoction in the treatment of chronic colitis has a remarkable effect,it helps to control body's inflammatory response,improve immune function,and further promote the recovery of intestinal mucosal barrier function,which is worthy of promotion.
