近些年,动脉粥样硬化(AS)所致心血管疾病的死亡率已跃居所有疾病之首。AS是一种慢性炎症性疾病,以脂代谢不平衡、动脉内膜下泡沫细胞累积为主要病理特征。巨噬细胞在AS的各个阶段发挥着重要作用,其数量和激活状态的失衡是导致病变发展的关键,过度的聚集和激活会使其从防御作用转变为致病作用。本文主要阐述巨噬细胞在AS中的双重作用及促炎和抗炎途径,并探讨潜在的治疗策略。深入解析巨噬细胞在AS发病机制中的关键作用可为治疗AS提供新的解决方案。
Study on the mechanism of macrophages in the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis
In recent years,atherosclerosis(AS)-induced cardiovascular disease has become the leading cause of mortality.AS is a chronic inflammatory disorder,pathologically defined by perturbed lipid metabolism and subendothelial foam cell deposition.Macrophages play important role in all stages of AS,the imbalance of their number and activation state is the key to the development of lesions,and excessive aggregation and activation will transform them from defensive role to pathogenic role.This article mainly elaborates the dual role of macrophages in AS and the inflammatory and anti-inflammatory pathways involved,and discusses potential therapeutic strategies.Further exploring the key role of macrophages in AS pathogenesis may provide new solutions for the treatment of AS.
