Effect of Shengxuebao mixture combined with ferrous succinate tablets in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia and its influences on the expression of COX-1 and COX-2
Objective To analyze the effect of Shengxuebao mixture combined with ferrous succinate tablets in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia and its influences on the expression of cyclooxygenase-1(COX-1)and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2).Methods A total of 100 patients with iron deficiency anemia admitted from April 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with ferrous succinate tablets,and the observation group was treated with Shengxuebao mixture on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in serum iron(SI),transferrin saturation(TS),serum ferritin(SF),total iron binding capacity(TIBC)and soluble transferrin receptor(sTfR)levels between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of SI,TS and SF in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the levels of TIBC and sTfR were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in COX-1 and COX-2 expression levels between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,COX-1 and COX-2 expression levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in blood platelet count(BPC),mean platelet volume(MPV)and platelet distribution width(PDW)between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the BPC,MPV and PDW in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Shengxuebao mixture combined with ferrous succinate tablets in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia can regulate the expression of COX-1 and COX-2,improve platelet parameters,promote the recovery of iron metabolism,and has high safety,which is worthy of promotion.
