Effects of colchicine on prognosis and inflammatory factors levels in patients with cerebral infarction undergoing thrombolysis
Objective To explore the effects of colchicine on prognosis and inflammatory factors levels in patients with cerebral infarction undergoing thrombolysis. Methods A total of 144 patients with cerebral infarction who received alteplase thrombolysis therapy in the neurology department from August 2021 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group(70 cases)and experimental group(74 cases). The control group was treated with conventional drugs(aspirin and/or clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate +atorvastatin calcium),and the experimental group was treated with conventional drugs combined with colchicine. The clinical curative effect, inflammatory factors levels, liver and kidney function were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of hypersensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before and after treatment, there were no significant differences in the levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and creatinine between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the levels of ALT,AST and creatinine in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Colchicine can improve the prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction undergoing thrombolysis, reduce the levels of hs-CRP and IL-6,and has no significant effect on liver and kidney function, with good effect and safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
