Effect of atorvastatin calcium combined with irbesartan in the treatment of hypertension and its influence on vascular endothelial function
Objective To explore the effect of atorvastatin calcium combined with irbesartan in the treatment of hypertension and its influence on vascular endothelial function. Methods A total of 80 patients with hypertension admitted from June 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group(n=40,irbesartan)and study group(n=40,atorvastatin calcium combined with irbesartan). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the endothelin-1(ET-1),von Willebrand factor(vWF),lipid peroxidation(LOP)levels and carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of nitric oxide(NO)was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)and Salusin-β in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of Apelin was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the ankle-brachial index(ABI),large arterial elasticity index(C1)and small arterial elasticity index(C2)of the two groups increased, and those in the study group were higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Atorvastatin calcium combined with irbesartan can improve the vascular endothelial function and vascular elasticity function of patients with hypertension, reduce the inflammatory response, and has a good curative effect, which is worthy of promotion and application in clinical practice.
