Objective To analyze the etiology and treatment measures of 63 cases of neonatal hypertension. Methods The cases of neonatal hypertension diagnosed in the neonatal intensive care unit of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2011 to December 2021 were retrospectively included, and the etiology of the included cases was analyzed. Results Among 63 cases of neonatal hypertension, there were 33 males and 30 females;41 premature infants and 22 full-term infants;average gestational age was(35.61±7.32)weeks;the average age of onset was(25.55±1.83)d.Only 1 case had clinical manifestations, which showed respiratory distress, and the remaining cases had no specific clinical manifestations. The etiology distribution was 21 cases(33.33%)of primary hypertension,12 cases(19.05%)of renal hypertension,9 cases(14.29%)of congenital heart disease,8 cases(12.70%)of bronchopulmonary dysplasia,7 cases(11.11%)of central nervous system diseases and 6 cases(9.52%)of endocrine system diseases. Conclusion There are many factors affecting neonatal hypertension, including gestational age at birth, corrected gestational age and disease type. Most neonatal hypertension is asymptomatic,so in clinical treatment,it is important to clarify the cause as much as possible and carefully choose whether to use antihypertensive drugs. The cases in this paper were followed up and found that the vast majority of children has a good prognosis.
