Application value of breast ultrasound imaging scoring system in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses
Objective To analyze the application value of breast ultrasound imaging scoring system in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses. Methods From January 2020 to January 2023,80 patients with solid breast masses admitted in our hospital were selected as the research objects. All patients underwent breast ultrasound examination, and the breast ultrasound image scoring system was used to score the preoperative ultrasound images. With postoperative pathological results as the gold standard, the diagnostic efficacy of the breast ultrasound image scoring system for benign and malignant masses was analyzed. Results Among the 80 patients,85 masses were confirmed by pathological results,of which 50 were benign and 35 were malignant, accounting for 58.82%and 41.18%respectively.According to the pathological results, the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the breast ultrasound imaging scoring system for benign and malignant masses were 90.59%(77/85),91.43%(32/35)and 90.00%(45/50),respectively.Among the ultrasonic imaging features, the proportion of malignant masses with a shape, long axis and skin surface, boundary and internal echo scores of 2 points were higher than those of benign masses, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the proportion of posterior acoustic shadow score of 2 points between benign and malignant masses(P>0.05).Conclusion The breast ultrasound imaging scoring system has high diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity in differentiating benign and malignant breast masses. It can be used as a screening method for early breast cancer and has important clinical promotion value.
