Objective To explore the application effect of individualized psychological care based on behavioral induction method combined with family empowerment intervention in school-aged children with bronchiolitis treated by aerosol inhalation in outpatient service. Methods Ninety school-age children with bronchiolitis treated by aerosol inhalation in outpatient service of our hospital from September 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group adopted routine nursing, and the observation group adopted individualized psychological care based on behavioral induction method combined with family empowerment intervention. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension of the Child Medical Fear Scale(CMFS)in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of cooperation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the respiratory rate(RR)and functional residual capacity(FRC)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the tidal volume(TV)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized psychological care based on behavioral induction method combined with family empowerment intervention can reduce the medical fear of school-age children with bronchiolitis treated by aerosol inhalation in outpatient service, improve degree of cooperation, and promote the improvement of lung function, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
