Application effect of pipeline nursing risk assessment in nursing management of ventricular drainage tube after brain tumor surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of pipeline nursing risk assessment in nursing management of ventricular drainage tube after brain tumor surgery. Methods A total of 86 patients who underwent ventricular drainage after brain tumor surgery in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the stratified randomization method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine pipeline nursing, and the observation group was treated with pipeline nursing risk assessment on the basis of the control group. The incidence of unplanned extubation, pipeline obstruction, complications, pain degree and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The unplanned extubation rate and pipeline obstruction rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidences of intracranial infection, meningitis and hemorrhage in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At the time of intubation and 3 d after intubation, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The pipeline nursing risk assessment applied in the nursing management of ventricular drainage tube after brain tumor surgery can reduce the unplanned extubation rate and pipeline obstruction rate, relieve pain and reduce complications, which can be further promoted in clinical practice.
