Efficacy and safety of low-dose metoprolol tartrate tablets combined with nifedipine controlled release tablets in the treatment of young and middle-aged patients with hypertension
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of low-dose metoprolol tartrate tablets combined with nifedipine controlled release tablets in the treatment of young and middle-aged patients with hypertension. Methods A total of 80 young and middle-aged patients with hypertension admitted from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into routine group(40 cases, routine dose of metoprolol tartrate tablets+ nifedipine controlled release tablets)and observation group(40 cases,low-dose of metoprolol tartrate tablets+ nifedipine controlled release tablets)by random number table method. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).After treatment, the systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group, and the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of thrombomodulin(TM),endothelin(ET),brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),angiotensinⅡ(Ag Ⅱ)and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions during treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion Low-dose of metoprolol tartrate tablets combined with nifedipine controlled release tablets in the treatment of young and middle-aged patients with hypertension is safe and efficient.
