Clinical application value of radial ultrasound guided bronchoalveolar lavage in the etiology diagnosis of pulmonary infection
Objective To explore the clinical application value of radial ultrasound guided bronchoalveolar lavage in the etiology diagnosis of pulmonary infection. Methods A total of 78 patients with pulmonary infection(43 cases with community-acquired pneumonia and 35 cases with nosocomial pneumonia)admitted in our department from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into radial ultrasound guided bronchoalveolar lavage group(radial ultrasound group,40 cases)and routine bronchoalveolar lavage group(routine group,38 cases). The recovery rate of alveolar lavage fluid, positive rate of etiology detection, positive rate of etiology diagnosis and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in the positive rates of bacteria and fungi detection between the radial ultrasound group and the routine group(P>0.05).The positive rate of etiology diagnosis in the radial ultrasound group was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).After adjusting the anti-infective treatment regimen according to the etiology results, the effective rate of treatment in the radial ultrasound group was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion Radial ultrasound guided bronchoalveolar lavage has a high positive rate of etiology diagnosis in pulmonary infection, which can provide an important clinical basis for the correct and reasonable selection of anti-infection treatment.
