Effect of novel parallel and vertical compression suture of lower uterine segment combined with ergometrine in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section with placenta previa
Objective To analyze the effect of novel parallel and vertical compression suture of lower uterine segment combined with ergometrine in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section with placenta previa. Methods A total of 40 patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section with placenta previa admitted in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were randomly divided into conventional group(20 cases, novel parallel and vertical compression suture of lower uterine segment treatment)and observation group(20 cases, novel parallel and vertical compression suture of lower uterine segment combined with ergometrine treatment). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The dosage of red blood cell suspension, plasma dosage, hemostasis time, hospitalization time and bleeding volume at 2 and 24 h after treatment in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS),malondialdehyde(MDA)and D-dimer(D-D)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group, the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and catalase(CAT)were significantly higher than those in the conventional group, and prothrombin time(PT)and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)were significantly shorter than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the peak systolic blood flow velocity(PSV)and pulsatility index(PI)of uterine spiral artery in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the conventional group, and the resistance index(RI)was significantly lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The novel parallel and vertical compression suture of lower uterine segment combined with ergometrine in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section with placenta previa can achieve ideal effect.
