Application of refined management in the allocation of children's chemotherapeutic drugs and its influence on adverse events
Objective To explore the application of refined management in the allocation of children's chemotherapy drugs,and to analyze its influence on adverse events.Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,300 bags of chemotherapeutic drugs,10 staffs in pharmacy intravenous admixture services(PIVAS)and 60 guardians of children in the PIVAS of the hospital were selected as experimental group(refined management),and 300 bags of chemotherapeutic drugs,10 PIVAS staffs and 60 guardians of children in the PIVAS of the hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as reference group(routine management).The work indicators,adverse events,satisfaction of PIVAS staffs and children's guardians were compared between the two groups.Results The prescription review time,dispensing required time,dispensing time and drug inventory turnover time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was 0.33%,which was lower than 3.00%in the reference group(P<0.05).The scores of various items of satisfaction surevey questionnaire of PIVAS staff in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of children's guardians in the experimental group was 98.33%,which was higher than 88.33%in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion Refined management can improve the working efficiency of allocation of children's chemotherapy drugs,reduce the risk of adverse events,and improve the satisfaction of PIVAS staffs and children's guardians.
