Investigation on self-management status and influencing factors of patients with hypertension in Inner Mongolia
Objective To investigate the self-management status and influencing factors of patients with hypertension in Inner Mongolia.Methods From September 2022 to October 2023,a total of 766 patients with hypertension were selected from the eastern,central and western cities of Inner Mongolia by stratified random sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey on the status of hypertension self-management.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of hypertension self-management.Results Among the 766 patients,low,medium and high levels of self-management accounted for 35.77%,39.03%and 25.20%respectively.The influencing factors of self-management level of patients with hypertension were high school/technical secondary school,retirees,average monthly income≤1 000 yuan,normal or overweight body mass index(BMI)classification,course of disease≤5 years or 6-10 years,self-paid,established or not established health records,contracted family doctors,often or sometimes community hypertension health education and lifestyle guidance(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-management status of patients with hypertension in Inner Mongolia is generally at a low level.It is necessary to focus on improving the self-management level of patients with low education level,low income,overweight BMI,short course of disease and self-paid patients.Effective implementation of health records and family doctor contract services,regular community hypertension health education and lifestyle guidance can effectively improve patients'self-management ability.
