Analysis of the expression and clinical significance of GPX7 gene in bone and soft tissue sarcoma based on multi-database
Objective To analyze of the expression of glutathione peroxidase 7(GPX7)gene in bone and soft tissue sarcoma based on multi-database,and to evaluate its value in the prognosis of patients and its correlation with immune infiltration. Methods The expression of GPX7 in bone and soft tissue sarcoma was analyzed by GEPIA database;the correlation between GPX7 and prognosis of patients was analyzed by GEPIA database and Sangerbox database;the correlation between GPX7 and immune cell infiltration was analyzed by Sangerbox database and TIMER database;the correlation between GPX7 and various protein expressions in patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma was analyzed by STRING database. Results The expression level of GPX7 in bone and soft tissue sarcoma tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression level of GPX7 is negatively correlated with the prognosis of patients, the higher the expression of GPX7,the worse the prognosis of patients. The expression of GPX7 has a certain correlation with immune cell infiltration. Conclusion In patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma, the expression of GPX7 is negatively correlated with the prognosis of patients and the degree of infiltration of immune cells. It is a risk factor for the prognosis of patients and is expected to be used as a new biomarker to evaluate the prognosis of patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma.
