Effect of miconazole nitrate ointment combined with terbinafine hydrochloride tablets in the treatment of fungal skin diseases and its influence on skin barrier function
Objective To explore the effect of miconazole nitrate ointment combined with terbinafine hydrochloride tablets in the treatment of fungal skin diseases and its influence on skin barrier function. Methods A total of 80 patients with fungal skin diseases admitted from February 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with terbinafine hydrochloride tablets, and the observation group was treated with miconazole nitrate ointment on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment and fungal clearance rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of interleukin-10(IL-10)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the water content of skin stratum corneum and epidermal sebum content in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the amount of transdermal water loss was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Miconazole nitrate ointment combined with terbinafine hydrochloride tablets can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of fungal skin diseases, inhibit inflammatory response, and promote the recovery of skin barrier function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
