Effects of Feilike combined with ambroxol hydrochloride on symptoms improvement and lung function in children with mycoplasma pneumonia
Objective To investigate the effects of Feilike combined with ambroxol hydrochloride on symptoms improvement and lung function in children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods A total of 89 children with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group(44 cases, treated with ambroxol hydrochloride)and study group(45 cases, treated with Feilike combined with ambroxol hydrochloride). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The cough relieving time, sputum improvement time, antipyretic time and lung rale disappearance time in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced vital capacity(FVC)and maximal mid-expiratory flow curve(MMF)in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the CD8+ was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Feilike combined with ambroxol hydrochloride can improve the clinical symptoms of children with mycoplasma pneumonia, improve the therapeutic effect, lung function and immune function, and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.
