Effect of pillow neck acupuncture combined with massage technique on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type and its influence on cervical function
Objective To investigate the effect of pillow neck acupuncture combined with massage technique on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type and its influence on cervical function. Methods Eighty patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type treated from May 2019 to May 2022 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with massage technique, and the observation group was treated with pillow neck acupuncture combined with massage technique. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of neck pain, headache and tinnitus, vertigo and nausea in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, end diastolic velocity(EDV),peak systolic velocity(PSV)and mean flow velocity(MFV)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the fibrinogen(Fbg)level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the nitric oxide(NO)level was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Neck Disability Index(NDI)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the Quality of Life Questionnaire-C30(QLQ-C30)score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The pillow neck acupuncture combined with massage technique in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type has significant effect,it can alleviate the symptoms of patients, improve the hemodynamics, adjust the levels of Fbg and NO,and promote the improvement of cervical function and quality of life, which is worthy of promotion.
